Permanent Laser Hair Removal for Men

Precautions  : 

–  No exposure to the sun  or sunbed during the treatment.
– The hair present on the area to be treated must be a  maximum of 1 mm long  for the session. Shaving should be done accordingly (except for women’s faces).
– The hairs  must not be bleached or tweezed or waxed because the laser attacks the hair bulb. 

Risks and side effects  :

• After the laser treatment, there may be a slight local warmth or tingling sensation, which can be soothed with ice packs
• The skin will react after the treatment and there will be a transient redness or small papules which will disappear after 24-48h or may be longer in case of areas with thicker hair or in case of reactive skin
• If erythema appears, cold compresses will be applied or thermal water may be sprayed several times at one hour intervals on the treated area. After facial hair removal, the practitioner recommends using a cream with a protective factor.
• Hot showers on the treated area or saunas are prohibited on the day of the treatment
• Sun exposure and use of sunbeds are prohibited for at least 2 weeks after the treatment, as the hair in the treated area will grow as usual, but after an interval of 10-14 days the root will regress and will be removed. After several permanent hair removal sessions, you will notice a slowdown in hair growth, which will become finer.

• Après le traitement au laser, il peut y avoir une légère sensation de chaleur locale ou de picotement, qui peut être apaisée avec des compresses de glace
• La peau réagira après le traitement et il y aura une rougeur passagère ou de petites papules qui disparaîtront après 24-48h ou peuvent être plus longues en cas de zones à poils plus épais ou en cas de peau réactive
• Si un érythème apparaît, des compresses froides seront appliquées ou de l’eau thermale pourra être pulvérisée à plusieurs reprises à une heure d’intervalle sur la zone traitée. Après l’épilation du visage, la practicienne recommande d’utiliser une crème avec un facteur protecteur.
• Les douches chaudes sur la zone traitée ou les saunas sont interdits le jour du soin
• L’exposition au soleil et l’utilisation des bancs solaires sont interdites pendant au moins 2 semaines après le traitement, car les poils de la zone traitée pousseront comme d’habitude, mais après un intervalle de 10 à 14 jours, la racine régressera et sera enlevée . Après plusieurs séances d’épilation définitive, on remarquera un ralentissement de la croissance des poils, qui deviendront plus fins.
