Precautions  : 

–  No exposure to the sun  or sunbed during the treatment.
– The hair present on the area to be treated must be a  maximum of 1 mm long  for the session. Shaving should be done accordingly (except for women’s faces).
– The hairs  must not be bleached or tweezed or waxed because the laser attacks the hair bulb. 

Duration of the session : The duration of a laser hair removal session can vary from 10 to 60 minutes depending on the area of ​​the body being treated.

Duration of treatment : The total duration of treatment depends on several factors such as hair density, hair color and skin type of each individual. In general, long-term treatment can slow down hair regrowth, thin it out and reduce its amount.

Comfort : During the treatment, a device is used allowing skin cooling of the treated area, causing an anesthetic effect. 

Risks and side effects  :

• After the laser treatment, there may be a slight local warmth or tingling sensation, which can be soothed with ice packs
• The skin will react after the treatment and there will be transient redness or small papules which will disappear after 24-48h or may be longer in case of areas with thicker hair or in case of reactive skin
• If erythema appears, cold compresses will be applied or thermal water may be sprayed several times at one hour intervals on the treated area. After facial hair removal, the practitioner recommends using a cream with a protective factor.
• Hot showers on the treated area or saunas are prohibited on the day of the treatment
• Sun exposure and use of sunbeds are prohibited for at least 2 weeks after the treatment, as the hair in the treated area will grow as usual, but after an interval of 10-14 days, the root will regress and will be removed. After several permanent hair removal sessions, you will notice a slowdown in hair growth, which will become finer.
